Welcome back to another school year.  The students are settling in after the first week of school.  I am already seeing gains in their oral communication.  We will share some French in the coming weeks on this page. HOMEWORK We will have a consistent weekly routine for homework.  Grade 5 Math - There will be a homework sheet each week and students are also asked to study their multiplication facts each night. Grade 4/5 Language Arts - The students will read in English each night (15-20 min) and have a written reading response each week.  Some weeks they will complete a reading comprehension activity in the place of the reading response.  As a staff we felt it was important to continue with some English writing during the Intensive French block. French reading will begin soon
