September 15-19, 2014          Welcome to my teacher page!!         Zoo phonics News!  Learning the alphabet and letter sounds using 26 animals in our zoo!  Letters a, b and c!    ABC BOOM!  We will be learning the raindrop “PLOP” stroke this week. * Math Outcome- GCO- Patterns and Relations- Sorting 2D and 3D shapes based on a single attribute.  Identify, name, reproduce, extend and create patterns with 1-3 elements.  *students are learning to use sorting rules - why should items be put together in a set?  shape, color, size etc.  Monday September 15-  Norcard orders went home today as did Terry Fox forms  Tuesday September 16-  Wednesday September 17-  Scholastic book orders are due   Thursday September 18 – Meet the teacher night at 6:30 in the gym                                    - Poetry anthology  Friday September 19–  PIZZA DAY (if you wish for your child to order, PLEASE send their money in a sealed container/envelope with their NAME and # of pieces to avoid any confusion or lost orders.) Reminder!!!  today is picture day.
