Enjoy a read aloud with ELMO and Bob... count with them... can you make different arrangement of items to match some of the numbers in the book:  try tallying... try 5 frames or 10 frames (you can get an adult to draw them), try number cube formations (dice) there are lots of ways to show numbers!!
