Home Learning, May 21st!

Posted: May 21, 2020

Dear Children,

Today is thoughtful Thursday!

What will you do today to show kindness to others?

The date is May 21st, 2020.

It is going to be another beautiful day, sunny and warm. It will feel like summer!

I had to dig out some of my summer clothes. Did you?

Have a terrific day boys and girls. Be sure and get outside to enjoy the sunshine!

Love, Mrs. Sobey

Parents: I’d love to see your child’s writing pieces when they are done. That way I can also give some feedback as to what could be worked on next so that their writing will continue to develop. Writing pieces can be emailed to me.

Problem of The Week

Create and label a Pattern (ex. abc, abbc, abcc, abcd)

You decide what you’d like to use to create your pattern. You can use “things” or you can draw one on paper. Be sure and label the core (the part that repeats). I’d love to see you patterns once you’ve completed this task. You can email me a picture at jodi.sobey@nbed.nb.ca

In addition to the activities suggested above students are encourage to read independently, participate in some physical activity and complete the task from the “Social-Emotional Learning” calendar.
