Good Morning, Good Morning, Good Morning To You!
Today is thoughtful Thursday.
It is the 14th day of May.
The sun is shining, but it sure sounds windy out there.
I will be calling you all in a little bit to say hello.
I love talking to you and hearing all about your days at home.
Talk to you soon!
Love, Mrs. Sobey

Problem of The Week
In the pond I spy 5 big frogs and 4 baby frogs. How many frogs all together do I spy in the pond? Do you add or subtract to find the answer?
I would encourage them to draw a picture to help them solve and also include the number sentence. (Example of a number sentence… 10-3=7)
In addition to the activities suggested above students are encourage to read independently, participate in some physical activity and complete the task from the “Social-Emotional Learning” calendar.
