Happy Tuesday!
The date today is May 12, 2020.
It is my oldest boy’s birthday today.
He is a turning (10+10). How old is he?
It looks like it might be a rainy day.
I am going to work on finding you some more fun learning activities.
What will you do today?
I hope you all have a fun day, stay dry!
Love, Mrs. Sobey

Problem Of The Week
In the pond I spy 5 big frogs and 4 baby frogs. How many frogs all together do I spy in the pond? Do you add or subtract to find the answer?
I would encourage them to draw a picture to help them solve and also include the number sentence. (Example of a number sentence… 10-3=7)
In addition to the activities suggested above students are encourage to read independently, participate in some physical activity and complete the task from the “Social-Emotional Learning” calendar.
