Hello Grade One,

Today is Tuesday, May 19th.

It looks like it is going to be a sunny day. What will you do today?

I hope you all had a fun long weekend.

I drove by Napan on the highway. I was thinking about you all!

Did any of you go for ice cream?

I did! I went to Mauries. It was sooo yummy!

Have a great day boys and girls.

Love, Mrs. Sobey

Your goal for this week is to complete 8 lessons. If you complete at least 2 each day you will reach the goal at the end of the week. Remember if you begin a game, please finish it.

Problem of the Week

Create and label a Pattern (ex. abc, abbc, abcc, abcd)

You decide what you’d like to use to create your pattern. You can use “things” or you can draw one on paper. Be sure and label the core (the part that repeats). I’d love to see your patterns once you’ve completed them. You can email me a picture at jodi.sobey@nbed.nb.ca

In addition to the activities suggested above students are encourage to read independently, participate in some physical activity and complete the task from the “Social-Emotional Learning” calendar.
