We have ice time at 10:15.  This is a  school event therefore we have guidelines in place: all students are expected to participate Students should enter/exit and take rests at the assigned area and remain with staff for the duration. For safety reasons games such as tag, races and trains are not allowed Respect others- skate in the same direction at respectable speeds, allow novice skaters the center area to improve skills  Water bottles are allowed but WATER only in a labelled bottle  to avoid confusion and left-over bottles- not allowed on the surface area All students are aware of these expectations, please model respect and responsibility for them.  This is a fun event and great exercise so get your skates sharpened come and join your children on the ice!

pumpkin       Once again we are hosting our family pumpkin carving event this Friday, Oct. 29 at 10:30.  Bring your pumpkin and creative ideas to the gym for 10:30 ( lasts about an hour).  It is our hope that each student will have a family member to share this experience, but we understand the "busy"ness of life. Children will be joined with friends in such cases so that ALL can take part.  We do not wear costumes but all are encouraged to dress in Halloween colors as part of the festivities!  Students will perform poems and songs for your entertainment following the viewing of Pumpkins.  THIS IS MY FAVORITE of our many gatherings at Napan! Hope to see you there to partake.  In the afternoon we will have a bit of a celebration, please take note of our school wellness goal and the pamphlet that went home re. Healthy Halloween!
