Happy Thursday Boys and Girls! If  you haven't heard, we are getting a hamster for our classroom.  We'll put everyone's choice of name in a hat, and the one drawn when we get back to school will be the name of our hamster.  Get you thinking caps on. The names of the last two classroom hampsters we had were Pippin and Snuggles. 

        Your lesson for the day: First, try to solve this riddle. What's black and white, and red all over?

        Read 15  minutes 

        One Reading omprehension assignment -  only spend 15 minutes on this and finish the rest tomorrow.

        Journal writing 20 minutes - choose your own topic and the focus for the day is - different sentence beginnings.
