Happy Monday Boys and Girls!

I hope you all had a great weekend. The weather was sure beautiful!

During sharing time this morning, I would have asked you to share one thing that made you smile over the weekend. If you’d like you could choose to write about that for your writing task today.

I am going to the school before too long to prepare some learning packages and choose some new books for you. Mrs. Brown will be at the school this afternoon for you to come and pick them up.

I am hoping that we will be able to be together real soon. I miss you a whole bunch.

 Monday, November 8th Tasks (Grade 1 Math, Grade 2 Literacy)
Your tasks for today are;

a) read a "good fit" book, b) choose 1 writing task from your choice board or write about something that happened on the weekend that made you smile, and c) choose 1 math task to complete. 

Students in Grade 1 Literacy and Grade 2 Math-Check Mrs. Newman's Teacher Page for your assigned tasks. 

Dear Parents,

Miss Comeau (student teacher) and I have decided that we will continue to provide “Choice Boards” for the students in Grade 1 Math and Grade 2 Language Arts this week. We are heading into the school this morning to prepare some materials that will needed to complete some of the tasks. As well, we will be choosing some “good fit books” for your child.  Miss Brown will be at the school between 12:00-4:00 p.m. this afternoon to allow time for you to come by to pick up the new materials. We ask that you please return the books that your child has at home. As well, bring along all learning tasks that they have completed thus far.
