The Grade Four class began selling Valentine Pencils at lunch today, and will continue to do so at lunch this Thursday and Friday. The cost is 25¢ per pencil. When a student purchases a pencil, their name will be entered in a draw for $5. Proceeds from the sale of the pencils will go to the Miramichi SPCA.

Grade Two Math Students are learning to identify the day of the week for today, yesterday, tomorrow, and for a given date.
Activity: Make a weekly calendar with your child. Talk about the family schedule and what happens on each day of the week. Have your child identify the day of the week and the date tomorrow and yesterday.

Enjoy a delicious, healthy drink, and help homeless animals at the same time! On Thursday, February 3, the Grade Four class will be selling fruit smoothies to raise money for the local SPCA. Cost is a quarter for Grades K to Two, and fifty cents for Grades Three to Five.
