Dear Parents,
Picture Day is this Monday! Haley, Bradon and Mrs. Carroll have birthdays this weekend.
We are practicing school and class rules. They are: 1) Keep your hands to yourself, 2) Raise your hand to speak and wait your turn, 3) Indoor voices always, 4) Be quick and quiet around the school...Coming and Going, 5) Be responsible for your things.
Our Terry Fox run is next week, September 30th. We are looking for sponsors to raise money. Our soccer team won Tuesday's game 7-4.

Dear Parents,
We are learning a lot at school. In Math, Kindergartens are sorting and the Grade 1 & 2's are patterning. In Daily 5, the Kindergartens are learning to Read-To-Self and the Grade 1 & 2's are reviewing Read-To-Self and Work on Writing. We have been writing stories too! In You and Your World, we have talked about Germs, Fire Safety and Bus Safety. We are having a great time every day!

We began our first unit in Math today. We will be learning about patterns.
The Learning Goals are: identify and copy patterns, create and extend patterns, talk about how a pattern repeats, solve problems with patterns, and recreate the same pattern using different materials.
