Last evening I sent out an email to each student. It contains a parent letter, and your child's log in access.  Please try to set your child's account and begin with Dreambox learning today.  Let me know if you were successful or not in logging on.   joan.craig@nbed.nb.ca      I am having issues with my own login so I cannot view it as yet.  Hopefully I can go in an monitor progress and assign activities soon.

The kids liked this and always rose to the challenge! Find a timer of some kind, and set it for 20 minutes, paper and something to write with.  Our word of the day is when

Say it ...spell it...and WRITE IT! the strokes arewhee \ - uuup /  - whee \ - uuup / ;  Plooop  l - Boing! ; vroom  -- snore C - Plop Boing!

w   h   e   n

now...set your timer for 2 minutes and have your child WRITE!  yes for 2 minutes. Say each letter when they print it and say the word after.  Do this throughout the day.  YES! whatever you're doing just stop-drop and write!   (you can change it to 1 minute after they get the word)

Your STEAM challenge contains math, reading, writing, and thinking.  I would love to see your work. You can send it to my email.

Hello parents and students!
Welcome to day 1 of Learning from home. I know learning has not just begun today...we're ALWAYS learning. We are learning how to stay at home, with our families day in/day out. But it is our first day to continue being a class, even though we are not together, we are all together.  I just posted a few ideas here to get started and see how this all works for you...and for me.  I am learning about this too.  But if we are all in "Flex Brains", we got THIS!

Parents, if you have any problems, please reach out... my email is associated to this Teacher Page. Children, be bucketfillers each and every day.  Help one another by being patient and taking this one day at a time.  Relax and do what you can...

Take care, be well and HIGH FIVE for getting where we are so far!!!   From  Mrs Craig
