Along with the student's names, the following words have been introduced to the class and posted on our "word wall" which is a tool children use when writing.  These are  practiced daily and are being incorporated into writing and reading sessions so students can learn them by heart. (Expected by year-end) Children should be able to name the word, use it in a sentence orally, and they are attempting to write them in stories using Teacher models.  We will add to the word wall weekly.           I        see               am                 a                can                  my     .  (period)         ?(question mark)        !(exclamation mark)      I am _(name)_.    I am a_(student's choice, boy girl etc.). Dear Parents, Picture Day is THIS Monday! Haley, Bradon and Mrs. Carroll have birthdays this weekend.  We are practicing school and class rules.  They are: Keep Hands to yourself Raise your hand to speak and please wait your turn Use an indoor voice Be quick and quiet around the school and when coming and going Be RESPONSIBLE for your things      Our Terry Fox Run is next week, September 30!  We are looking for sponsors to help raise money.      Our soccer team won Tuesday's game 7-4. From K-2 Kids
